Four Artists will live together family style in an "Artist Cottage" of the Mount Gretna School of Art when the school is not in session.
The artist work space will provide a semi-private personal work space to each artist. Although the work space above may not be available in 2019. New studios are being developed.
An opportunity to promote your work through an artist panel will be held in the Pennsylvania Chautauqua's historic Hall of Philosophy. Here the 2017 "Four Pillars Artists in residence settle in prior to the artist panel conducted by art history professor Gloria Mast at left then artists Fred Draper, Grace Colletta, Katherine Carey Hall, and Sarah D'Ambrosio.
The residency conducts a rotation of local and regional shows to promote the Four Pillars artists to a wider audience. This may vary each year based on what we can line up. We were able to line up a show for the 2017 Four Pillars artists at "The Community Room on King" in Lancaster, PA and Gross McCleaf Gallery in Philadelphia.
You can make a difference, in your own work or the work of an artist you know.
